ZIP is FILE - RocketJet4

The Windows XP Search command is MUCH slower
than Win98 Find function, and Dos WHEREIS command.

This is because it wastes time ALWAYS searching inside ZIP folders.

The following zip file contains 2 batch files to take control of this.

1) ZIP_is_FILE.BAT - Turns OFF ZIP content searching in WINDOWS

2) ZIP_is_FOLDER.BAT - Turns ON ZIP FOLDER processing.

The BAT files are based on advice given by US PC-MAG online.


To activate, execute the corresponding BAT file
in a dos window [command prompt].
You should get 2 confirmation windows indicating success.
